Welcome to the Integrated Crop Management Website

The Integrated Crop Management (ICM) Division's goal is to contribute to reducing poverty and hunger and developing resilient, sustainable rural and urban livelihood systems by developing and disseminating new and appropriate technologies related to the integrated management of the main factor that influence potato and sweetpotato crop health.

The ICM Division undertakes research to consolidate solutions to production constraints (e.g late blight, bacterial wilt, soil degradation) in ways that are appropriate to each target population's region, system, and socioeconomic constraints. CIP?s experience with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Integrated Disease Management (IDM) in Farmer Field School (FFS) settings over the past seven years, has demonstrated that interactions between crop management components are of great importance to farmers.

This Website will be constantly updated, adding training resources, reports, and other information of interest. Some parts are still under construction.
