In our first year, throughout main issues, we discovered an immense amount of activities pushing our potato CWR prebreeding project forward. Through the six outputs that comprise our project to reach our goal that is: enhance potato adaptation to climate change through systematic use of CWR, capturing and upgrading this diversity into more easily-and usable forms of hybrid progenies and health-tested clones;
We uncovered lessons learned, highlighted situations that need to be changed. In parallel, our partners were empowering. Our proactives partners have picked up the flag of our prebreeding core collection as one of the most important flags of this project.
We are part of this ambitious and pioneering initiative the part of the Global Diversity Trust that are contributing to value the role of prebreeding in our food security
